A Bit of Running

Since starting this blog the goalposts have moved slightly.  I’m now in training for the 2014 Brighton Marathon to raise money for Mind.

That involves at least 3 runs and 2 bike rides a week (well, that’s the plan) with the mileage ramping up at the start of 2014.  I want to keep the training going and test my stamina and speed with a half marathon before Christmas where I’ll be looking for a sub-1.40 time.

My target for Brighton is 3hrs 30mins…. there’s a lot of work to do, so please be generous if you choose to sponsor me!

Sinfin 10k: 44:57

Desborough Half Marathon: 1.44:45

Standalone 10k: 44:45

The Big E.ON Run: 42:16

Santa Run Half Marathon at Stanwick Lakes: 1:23.17 (short race)
